The team at Spencer Harrington are a fairly diverse and eclectic bunch, but there are certain common traits and values that run through us all, namely honesty, integrity, a good work ethic, tenacity and a sense of humour.  Please read the biographies below to find out more or pick up the phone and say hello…

Luke Daynes

Luke is the founder and Director of Spencer Harrington. He has over 7 years experience in the recruitment-to-recruitment industry, previously managing a team at JPA. Luke covers all markets, with a particular focus on Finance, Banking and Legal; placing experienced recruitment professionals at the mid-to-senior level into Executive Search, Search & Selection and Contingency firms. He is a Bath University graduate and speaks fluent French.

Richard Vranch

Richard joined Spencer Harrington in the summer of 2006 having read Law at Southampton University. Focusing upon sales and recruitment-to-recruitment within professional services, financial services and the not-for-profit sector; he covers all levels of candidates with a particular focus at the entry to mid-level into recruitment, sales and executive search.

Diane Scott

Diane has worked in recruitment for a total of 8 years. She began her career in IT contingency recruitment before moving to an Internal Recruitment role for a well known IT recruitment group. Four years ago Diane made the move into the sales and recruitment-to-recruitment market. Diane covers all markets including IT and Finance through to Fashion specialising in the graduate and mid-level. She graduated from Manchester University.

Georgina Burman

Georgina joined Spencer Harrington in 2009 as a resourcer for the Graduate team, she has now worked her way up to consultant level and specialises in placing junior to mid-level consultants into the financial, technological and professional services space. After graduating in History from the University of Birmingham in 2007, she worked for a commercial recruiter before spending a year travelling the world.

Jonathan Readshaw

Jonathan graduated from the University of Birmingham , in his final year he balanced his studies with playing  international rugby in the British four nations tournament. Following  his studies he was employed by a leading contract recruitment business placing IT directors into the public sector.  He joined Spencer Harrington to continue his recruitment career and is currently working as a consultant for the graduate team.

Hannah Thompson

Hannah joined Spencer Harrington in 2010 as a Junior Resource Consultant to work in the graduate recruitment team. After completing her Psychology degree in 2008 from Canterbury Christchurch University, she decided to continue with her passion for sales working for a small graduate recruitment business for a year.

Tom Pavel

Tom joined the Graduate Team at Spencer Harrington in 2010 after spending a year recruiting IT professionals on a contract basis at a well-known UK recruitment firm. Tom decided to enter the industry after reading History and Politics at the University of Nottingham, graduating in 2008. Before embarking on his recruitment career Tom spent a year travelling the world on a shoestring.

Emily Barry

Emily is a recent Politics graduate from the University of York in 2010. She decided to pursue her career goal within recruitment after her brief work experience within this industry in 2008. Emily works on the graduate recruitment-to-recruitment team, helping bright talented individuals find their first job in the industry.
