The Role

Whilst account managing key West End agencies, business development is very much encouraged in order to further grow the successful existing client base.

Applicant’s Profile

 The successful candidate will be of a graduate calibre with at least 1 year’s media knowledge and experience in selling face to face.

The successful candidate will be required to:
• Initiate and run searches from MD level upwards in top investment banks and finance houses.
• Work cross border searches in partnership with the New York, Dubai and Hong Kong offices.
• Source, profile, approach and meet with prospective banking candidates.
• Maintain company records and keep the team up to date with expert market information
• Compile market maps, organisational information and in depth company reviews of top investment banks and finance houses.
• Build their own skill set to progress to become a consultant within 12 months.

The new researcher will work along-side an experienced consultant who will mentor and guide them as they work their way to becoming a junior consultant. This guidance and training will take the form of a group training scheme and one on one training with the in house training team, directors, managers and senior consultants.

As an Inside Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for generating business with senior level staff across a variety of markets in the technology sector. Position Overview

  • Attend candidate interviews and draft candidate report

• Create and maintain documents such as: research reports and progress reports; candidate reports; work in progress reports; and contribute to marketing documents
• Maintain database to ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date

Key skills and experience

• Experience as a Researcher or as an Associate for an executive search firm is preferred, but not mandatory. Individuals with experience in the relevant practice industry will be considered.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, ability to draft business documents
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of databases and their uses
• Naturally curious and analytical, a tenacious problem solver
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and a pressurised environment and prioritise competing projects
• Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
• Experience of, or a demonstrable interest in, public sector services.
