My client is one the country’s leading publishing houses, and is looking to take on a number of graduate sales executives in its events team to help drive forward and sell some of the biggest business and consumer events in the country. Having succeeded in this role, candidates will have superb opportunities to progress into a number of different roles within a number of different departments across the company.
The graduate sales executive will research, source and contact businesses relevant to the events and develop business relationships over the phone and, eventually, face to face. You will then be expected to negotiate rates and then close the deal for sponsorship and attendance at these national events.
