IT Recruitment Consultant – London

Salary – £18-20k and uncapped commission, with potential earnings of around £30-£40k in your first year

My client is one of London’s most respected specialist IT recruitment consultancies. Set up in 2004 they have already forged a respectable name for themselves and have successfully set up offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. Recruiting the UK’s leading  IT professionals into the financial markets, their clients include some of the top investment banks as well as niche trading houses and hedge funds. With a focus on the consultancy side of the business, they pride themselves on their strong  client and candidate relationships and their  impressive reputation within their market. Their increasing success demands that they expand their team to manage their ever increasing work load. They are looking for an individual who will take equal pride in both their individual and team performance to ensure the company continue to expand and develop.

The Role
• Due to the fast paced, demanding nature of the work you will be given a lot of responsibility quickly so you will need to be able to hit the ground running.  The successful candidate will show the aptitude for independent work as you will need to be entrepreneurial in finding your own candidates and building your own client base.
• You will start your role there in a resource function, spending the time expanding your knowledge of the market and understanding the recruitment process. Your progression to a consultant role will be dependent on you reaching set targets, but will be assisted by a bespoke training scheme to ensure you have every opportunity to become a successful and lucrative consultant.

• You will be working with some of the country’s leading financial institutions so you must be presentable, articulate and ready for client contact very early on
