Henry, 6 months experience working in Legal recruitment as a trainee headhunter.
Henry was placed as a trainee legal headhunter in a boutique legal search firm having had no previous recruitment experience as a straight graduate from a red brick university. Having been there for 6 months Henry is already one of the top billers within the firm having established strong relationships with many clients and candidates. Henry is on course to bill over £300K for the calendar year thus earning him around the six figure mark in his first year in recruitment.
Marc, 1 Years experience in Commodities Trading Search as a headhunter
Marc joined a fledgling commodities trading headhunting firm as a researcher with no prior recruitment or financial services experience. Marc worked closely with his director and was soon working on some of the most high profile roles in the market with salaries upwards of a million pounds. With six months experience he was made a consultant and billed over £30K in his first, second and third months as a consultant. With this success Marc was then able to hire a resourcer underneath him who he now mentors and trains with a view to growing a team underneath him over the coming months.
Andrew, Recruitment Consultant with 18 months experience within IT recruitment.
Andrew joined one of Europe’s top IT recruitment firms as a resourcer in the IT market focusing upon Europe just over a year ago. Andrew had some sales experience having left school after completing his A levels and choosing not to go to university. He quickly progressed to consultant and was running a very successful contract desk with 15 contractors within 6 months making the company £35k per month. After being in the role for 12 months Andrew was offered the chance to help open the Zurich office with another senior consultant which has happened on his 18 month within the company. He’s now going to grow out that office.

George joined a financial services headhunting firm with a year’s sales experience from university. He established himself as an excellent consultant very quickly and then earned the right to start his own brand within the firm covering a slightly different market. He then built this desk up and hired 6 people under him, 2 of which have now been promoted to managers underneath him. Upon his third year within the firm George was offered a directorship and equity within the business including profit share over his area.
